  • Piction has been selected by the Queensland Government to provide a secure online whole-of-Government Image Library solution. The Queensland Government Image Library will be used by communication officers across the 13 Queensland Government departments to raise the standard of both printed and web communication and marketing materials that promote Queensland Government's key services, priorities, messages and initiatives to the general public.

  • Victoria University of Wellington selects Piction as its Enterprise Digital Resource Platform. Piction's unique way of addressing business unit specific requirements in a single integrated platform was key to being selected. Piction will be used to manage documents, images, videos and other digital resources for discovery and educational use. Victoria University has over 21,000 student enrollments with approximately 2,000 staff members.
  • Piction releases new Windows File Explorer integration. Users are able to simply right click on local directories, individual or groups of digital files and upload into the Piction repository. Security and metadata enforcement are managed at the time of load. Piction's bulk metadata form enables users to apply metadata to individual or sets of digital files.
  • Inland Revenue Department of New Zealand uses Piction to streamline marketing and communications resources. Piction's permission based processes will be used to manage the request process for resources.
  • Piction wins second US based customer. Boston Massachusetts based Brooks School selects Piction as their image management platform. Piction's social tagging and networking functions were paramount in being selected.
  • Leading animation and film production company - Animal Logic - selects Piction as their digital resoruce management platform. Piction will be used to store, manage, access and distribute all of the animation and film resources.
  • Piction is soon to release its second generation rich media interface based on Ajax/Javascript. Piction Discoverer will provide users with a highly interactive and "mouse-only" controlled environment.
  • Cambridge Computer has been appointed Piction distributor in the US market. Cambridge Computer, with it's head office located in Boston Massachusetts, is a leading provider in storage based solutions to the US government, educational and cultural institutions.   • VicUrban selects Piction as its Digital Asset Management system. VicUrban is the Victorian Government's sustainable urban development agency committed to delivering prosperous and successful communities in regional and metropolitan Victoria. The Piction solution will manage the secure storage, access, distribution and archiving of VicUrban's digital resources.
  • Piction add-in for Microsoft Office suites released. This provides direct connection to the Piction repository and allows organisations to search for digital resources directly within Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
  • Piction add-in for Adobe InDesign has been released. Creatives are able to search a centralized repository within InDesign. Users are able to simply search and retrieve digital resources they require from Piction within the In-Design interface.
  • New Zealand government agency - the Department of Conservation - selects Piction as its Image Repository platform. The ability to address the diverse needs of the Department for digital media management was key in Piction being selected.
  • Geoscience Australia have selected Piction as their digital asset management system to manage their vast BioStrat collection. Piction's web based and simplified digital media management features will enable GA to provide secure access to sensitive and non sensitive data.
  • Christchurch newspaper publication - The Press - selects Piction as its e-business platform. Product and image sales will be managed by the Piction system.
  • Globally recognized art museum – The Cleveland Museum of Art – selects Piction as its digital asset management system. Functions such as easy integration, enhanced access control to digital art collections and rapid implementation were key factors in the selection. Piction outperformed companies such as Interwoven and Artesia to win the contract.
  • Piction wins tender for Digital Image Management System for the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA). The agency will use Piction to manage digital resources for its Maritime operations and Emergency units.
  • The New Zealand based Kauri Museum has selected Piction through distributor ImageLab to provide greater access to digital collections. The museum will also utilize Piction’s e-commerce engine to enable users to purchase products based on their collections.
  • Leading Gold Coast property developer Raptis Group selects Piction to manage their project resources. Piction will be used to control the distribution of property development resources on a national basis
  • Piction expands into Ireland through contract win with All Over Media. The All Over Media group represents major companies that develop stock animation and footage. Piction won the contract over companies such as Interwoven and Artesia.
  • Piction wins contract with New Zealand Trade & Enterprise to manage their large amount of digital resources. Piction will be used to underpin the access, distribution and management of marketing resource material for NZTE's partners and internal customers.
  • Royal Australian Mint selects Piction Digital Resource Scheduling to automate bookings for its various events.
  • Allied Press from New Zealand have chosen Piction as their image sales and marketing platform. Allied Press publish the prestigious Otago Daily Times based in Dunedin. The ease and flexibility of implementing differing business models were key to factors in Allied Press decision.
  • Leading Scottish agency Historic Scotland chooses Piction as its digital asset management platform. There will be over 3Million images ingested into the Piction platform with over 1100 staff accessing the system. Piction's integrated e-business capabilities were also key.
  • Donaldson Australasia selects Piction as their image library platform. Piction will be used to streamline marketing resource information interaction between their chosen agencies and partners.
  • Supporting the growing international demand for its Enterprise Digital Resource management solutions for unstructured data, Piction announces JVANET of Madrid, Spain has signed an agreement to distribute Piction's Digital Media eXchange platform in Spain.

  • Australian Electoral Commission selects Piction's Resource Booking System to manage their vast visitor numbers, educational programmes & resources, and venues. Piction's capability of managing complex calendars for visitors and their selected visit types and resources were key in the decision process.
  • Fairfax New Zealand selects Piction as online photo sales platform. Piction's flexible e-business pricing layer was key to selection.
  • The Department of Environment and Heritage deploys Piction to manage their online ordering for publications and consumables. Piction will provide the Department with an effective means of managing their warehouses and stock.
