The Australian War Memorial is one of the world's leading museums. The AWM is using Piction as the primary access mechanism for their collection base. Simple through to advanced search and retrieval functions are utilised for various users (ie. researchers and general public).

Once the digital collection is found, Piction is then used to manage the various requests type for a digital collection item. Request types span both commercial and knowledge based requests - for example, licensing of various collections through to delivery of metadata. The Piction Workflow engine then automates the requests within the different business untis within the AWM.

Since Piction's inception, the AWM has increased the visitation rates and customer service significantly. Furthermore, revenue generated from the digital collection base has increased dramatically.
